Juliette loves all kinds of music. 1960s French. 1980s metal. Reggae. All of it. (Fun fact - her favorite concert was Reggae artist Lucky Duve who played an outdoor concert in Maui). She associates music with memories and says it’s the best way to jump back in time and remember special moments in her life. Born in France, Juliette moved around a lot between France and Cameroon (along the central coast of Africa) for her dad’s work. Having the chance to experience so many different cultures fostered a lifelong love of travel and adventure. She came to the US the way so many young people do — as a young college student. Her hotel management studies in France led to an internship offer in the US (Hawaii, specifically) when she was 18. She took the leap, moved to Hawaii, fell in love with the beaches and the warm weather and decided to make the US her home. Like Moana says, the ocean called her. She learned how to surf and that’s where you’re most likely to find her when she isn’t at work. Dream trip? Argentina. She's fascinated by the culture, would love an excuse to learn a new language, and enjoys engaging with the delightful Argentinian community in Maui. She loves true crime shows and says she’s “nerdy” about real estate because she loves the simple thrill of helping people find their dream home on the islands.
